You see, McCain seems to think that the oil would pay off the Military debt. Well, It hasn't even though we are paying more for gas?





So since you want low taxes should we BORROW OUR WAY OUT OF DEBT?

Republicans when and how will we start paying off the national debt?
Just Me - The debt WILL NEVER BE PAID. This is one of the tools used to control any taxes or fees or WE THE PEOPLE ALL THE WAY AROUND.





If you go and read how the Gov. is run by a "FEW" we will never know who they are in NAME, that is only on a Need to KNOW list.

Guess where I had to turn when my x-left me took our businesses our


money accounts, moved the businesses offices that I had no money or idea where my (1/2) mine went too, and I could not find out. Phone company would not tell me where my company moved, and the bank said, well he was on the account (So was I) So when I was penniless


and no way to find a job because I could rest when I needed to after a Hospital fiasco with my body, I could work different hours, etc. Now


I was homeless, jobless, and Penniless with a 9 and 11 yr. old boys.





I went for Soc. Sec. and found out nothing under my Number for those 21 Years I set up and ran business with my X. So I was made to go on SSI From the Welfare base. When I hear all of those Freddie and Fannie Mae loans given out and that most of those poor people will lose their homes, They knew exactly what they were doing and no


one stoped them. Why are they even allowed to sell mortages.





An example: My brother wanted to pay off his mortage, he could not find it. It had been sold so many times it took months before He


fianlly found who had bought it. Why isn't the homeowner notified?


THE DEBT keeps us in control, and this mess with lending institutions is only part of their agena.





I noticed also that when I went to welfare office I fit right in as a lilty white female. I couldn't believe what I saw. How deceived we are


about who also is getting welfare.

I now go to the gas tank, 1st of month, fill it up (@$43.01 ) in my little 1988 car, I smile and talk to my car, "My dear S________, I have filled up my tank now I am watching how good you give me MILES


on this tank, make me proud." I pay for it, smile and wish the man


NOT REALLY MAKING THE MONEY, a good day and go on my way. They aren't going to get me down. My electric I owe some from last month and this month, $251. out of my $650. check, I am not going to worry, I was paying $54. for my untilities until they removed that CAP. Now a small portion is paid. So I expect a miracle because that is the only way I will make it. But they are not taking me down. I worked too hard too many years to let them defeat me like that.

Reply:If Bush would have vetoed the tax rebates and the home refinancing law for 400,000 homes there would have been a surplus for 2009. Most of the spending is for Social Security, Medicare, Medical and Welfare/Unemployment. The main problem is when Medicare, Medical and Social Security will have a combined deficit of $60 trillion or more around 2040. I don't think there will be enough cuts and taxes to head that off.
Reply:Let me tell you what they're going to say.





"Let's cut taxes even more, and then tax revenue will go up!!! And then we will use that increase in tax revenue to pay off the debt!!"





Unfortunately for them, that has never worked. It did not work under Reagan and it did not work under Bush. Instead we had the biggest deficits under these two presidents.
Reply:The Bush tax cuts have paid off some of the national debt, and lowered the deficit.





You cannot blame the national debt on just Republicans, no president since the 1800's has left office with a natinal debt lower then when they came into office.
Reply:I've decided that I would really hate to be President- no matter who you are or what you do in your presidency, everyone hates you. I'm not speaking of Republicans or Democrats specifically, either. We live in this amazing free country and all we do is complain and hate the one in office... too bad we don't support our Presidents, as best as we can. Sometimes I wonder if there really is a right answer to all of these serious questions- we all love to point fingers!
Reply:national debt is not that much of a problem. the entire US will never go into bankruptcy and if you really believe it matters that much take any high school economics class and you'll find out it doesnt matter.





Ya because socialized medicine will really lower it right?
Reply:Switch all of our coal fired power plants to nuclear plants and sale our excess coal to China and India to pay off our national debt. We will stop a good portion of our in-country global warming at the same time.





We did it with tobacco we can do it with coal.
Reply:we need someone like McCain in office that will refuse to sign bloated pork-infested budgets. I believe he will put an end, or at least severely limit, the amount of pork coming through congress. you'd be surprised how many billions that saves.
Reply:Paying down the national debt is contractionary. Since the US is in a slow growth mode, it would be a terrible idea to do that right now.






Reply:That's a great question. But it's directed to Republicans and I'm a Democrat. Just wanted you to know that it is quite a good question.
Reply:Simple, swallow your pride and beg Bill Clinton to come back. His own personal quirks are of no concern to anyone and have harmed no one.

Reply:Getting off of foreign oil and getting our own would give us back $1 billion dollars a day. We could pay it off with the saved money from our own oil, and selling any excess.
